Matt was born and raised just outside of DC in Southern Maryland, but he has always had a love for the District and considered it his home. After graduating from East Carolina University in 2007, Matt made it official, moving into DC and fully immersing himself in the culture, charisma and pulse of the city by living in various neighborhoods from Logan Circle to Brookland and beyond.
When Matt purchased his first home in DC’s Sixteenth Street Heights neighborhood in 2012, he was blown away by the details and excitement of the home search, and his interest in real estate was born. Following a decade-long career in public relations for local organizations like Animal Planet and Marriott, in 2016 Matt combined his zeal for DC and life-long knowledge of the area with his passion for real estate and became a licensed residential agent in DC, MD and VA.
Matt is a proven communicator and prides himself on knowing the ins and outs of home buying and selling. What Matt truly loves about being a NAR member is helping his clients break through the clutter of the process so they thoroughly enjoy their real estate experience and discover the best that DC and the surrounding areas have to offer.
Matt currently lives in Chevy Chase DC and when not working with clients or touring homes on the market, you can find him at local playgrounds in the neighborhood with his wife, sons and former Puppy Bowl all-star dog, cheering on the Nationals and Commanders from his season tickets seats, or raising funds for the National Capitol Area Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
